Applied Vision Company Announces Record Sales for 2004
AKRON, OH, September 12, 2005 - Applied Vision Company, the world’s leader in application-specific machine vision for the food and beverage container and packaging industries has delivered the first phase of shell and converted end inspection systems. This first phase consisted of 50 camera stations installed at the Ball facility located in Findlay, Ohio. Ball Metal Beverage Packaging chose Applied Vision after a very thorough evaluation of qualified vision suppliers. “This delivery is the first of several such systems that are part of one of the largest purchases in our industry,” said Bud Patel, V.P. of Business Development. Patel added, “The digital Spyder™ vision platform delivered for this application is based on our time-proven, industry-standard Genius® vision system.”
